Rangeen Homes

Rangeen Homes is a 24 ropani (3 acre) community-oriented housing and social service center in Panauti designed for supporting orphaned children, the elderly, persons with disability, and single women facing hardship. Rangeen Homes is conceived as a living community, where residents are provided with food, medical care, and shelter, with the aim of providing self-sustaining livelihoods through education and training.

The Foundation planned a multi-use campus, organising distinct functions into a coherent layout with clear zoning, circulation and shared open spaces for creating a sense of peace and belonging. We also designed spaces intentionally for different users with attention to safety, privacy, accessibility and dignity.
